Immersion Infinite is the public brand of the ecosystem founded by OpO Ventures, whose "execution" chapter opened in late 2025: R&D, industrialisation and services around total dielectric immersion, with a base in Geneva, Switzerland.

The 2017–2027 odyssey

Eight years, four generations

  • 2017

    Trial by fire

    The DTM technology is evaluated and validated by the laboratories of a major global computer manufacturer. The Gen0 AIO demonstrator is born: the bet is no longer theoretical.

  • 2018 – 2020

    Industrialisation through iterations

    Gen1 AIO takes up residence in a manufacturer ecosystem in Geneva; the immersed data center architecture is explored in cluster form. Then the concept pivots: "DTM as a Rack", steel abandoned for PMMA, building-block logic, hot-swap, with no service interruption. Gen3 is delivered to a major academic research institution.

  • 2020 – 2024

    Field proof and operator qualifications

    Deployments and qualifications with rail, cloud and telecom operators in Europe and Asia; network equipment from a major equipment maker runs immersed for three years in the laboratory — operator-grade endurance. In 2024, the Slim Gen4 prototype is unveiled and the range goes from 60 references to 6.

  • Q4 2025

    OpO Ventures opens the "execution" chapter

    Creation of the R&D and manufacturing centers in Geneva, structuring of the ecosystem and launch of the engineering cycles for the new iDTM range.

  • 2026

    Rationalisation and preparation for general availability

    Closing out engineering projects in short cycles, pilots and field trials, industrialisation of the product line — targeting general availability of the AIO and DC series.

  • 2027

    Immersion Infinite at scale

    Under the Immersion Infinite brand: mass deployment, expansion of the international ecosystem and an integrated range "infinitely scalable" for every type of data center.

Industrial roots

Geneva: design, assemble, validate, support

The Geneva site brings together the engineering functions, a test laboratory, assembly and integration workshops, and a services hub: training, parts, maintenance and support for Switzerland and neighbouring markets. Immersion Infinite designs and produces systems for its clients' data centers — it does not operate client application workloads.

R&D and testing

Load benches, thermal instrumentation and metrology compliant with the reference frameworks (ISO/IEC 30134, EN 50600-4) for extrapolatable demonstrations.

Modular assembly

Building-block manufacturing: integration, filling, calibration, final acceptance — standardisation shortens delivery lead times.

Life cycle

Repair, retrofit, refurbishment, end-of-life take-back and fluid regeneration: circularity is part of the industrial model.
